Decorative Lanterns

Lanterns are a great decor choice because they are affordable and come in so many sizes, styles, colors. Embellish lanterns with candles/flowers and hang on Sheppard hooks or place in the center of your reception tables. Lighting is quickly becoming a major component of wedding decor and introducing bespoke architectural elements such as lanterns with candles should be on your must have list.
Natural Beauties Floral in Chicago created these beautiful aisle markers with ceremony flowers including blue hydrangea, white alstoremeria, white roses and metal lanterns. This is a great way to frame the aisle. Later, transfer the lanterns to the reception tables - it is always a good idea to reuse as many items from the ceremony to the reception.

I checked out my local Home Goods store for lanterns and selection was massive. Don't forget to check out the garden section for a great selection of water proof lanterns. We found the following items; a beautiful gold Moroccan lantern with elaborate motifs, white lacquered Asian inspired pattern, rustic log cabin, birdcage design and a country cottage with farmhouse appeal.
