Last Saturday we photographed the wedding of Roxy and Ali at the scenic Palos Verdes Estates Country Club. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The reception rocked with a live band that kept everyone on the dance floor.
They also had a vintage Rolls Royce waiting to whisk them away. Check out the "Bond" (as in James) image below.

The fabulous Ami Elizabeth and Rebekah Anne behind one of my most favorite blogs out there, Elizabeth Anne Designs, recently announced the launch of The Library. What I love the most about The Library, is that unlike other vendor directory listings out there, it's free!
I've requested that my two fabulous photographers, Sarah Maren Photography and Travis Hoehne Photography be listed because they deserve to be added to the honor roll of fantabulous vendors. Well, they're already up and listed! You can use their handy submission form to request the addition of any of your favorite wedding vendors you don't see listed.
My most favorite part about it all? The Bride Reviews they'll share with us each month! How cool is that?
Here's what Ami and Rebekah have to say about it all:
"We are incredibly excited to announce our new project, The EAD Library. After months of development and research, we are launching a new resource for brides. The Library is filled with hundreds of useful links, from photographers to shops to stationers. Our goal is a simple, comprehensive list of vendors. The Library will help every bride, no matter her location, find the vendors and inspiration she needs for a beautiful event. "So get to it readers! Go check it out and find your missing vendors, or if you're recently married and want to give your vendors some blog-directory-love, get to it and submit their links and send in a review!

Add to myYahoo!Stephanie and Tripp live on a farm in Monroe and we thought it would be fun to do their engagement session to show more of their lifestyle. Stephanie competes in barrel racing and I am hoping after her wedding I can convince her to do some barrel racing in her wedding dress, how fun would that be!
Stephanie and Tripp were wearing matching belts that had their names on the back, Tripp explained this was something they used to do back in the day...it reminded me of "Urban Cowboy", with John Travolta and Debra Winger. I love that movie! So romantic!

Add to myYahoo!Shane and Greg are so awesome! We did a pre-wedding session underwater in Pisgah National Forest at Graveyard Fields.
We first stopped at Looking Glass Falls for a few... romantics in front of the waterfall and then headed up to Graveyard Fields, which is so beautiful and a great location for some underwater fun! North Carolina does not have the clearest water but we still had a great time and were able to get some fabulous shots!

We had a crowd of onlookers and they were really impressed that Shane and Greg were braving the cold mountain water! Even though the weather was really hot outside the water is still freezing cold! Yep, I was right in there with them!
