Hi ladies-At AniA, we know we work with the absolute greatest brides in the city. But some of our brides are truly exceptional. Meet Ashley. Ashley is one of those girls who lights up a room, a store, a wedding gown... she and her entire family AND bridal party were so completely delightful to work with - wonderful people all around. And check out these pictures! Have you seen a more gorgeous bride and groom? Wowzers. Photographs are courtesy of their amazing photograper, Mark Galligan. Add to myYahoo!I am loving the return of the Real Housewives of Orange County! Granted, this season the ladies all seem a taco short of a combination plate, but having the first franchise back is way better than enduring one episode of Real Housewives of Miami. Nothing against those ladies, because I obviously don't "know" any of them, but that show was a wreck and a half and it was oddly pieced together as a filler until Bravo could edit all the footage they got for the now running the RHONYC.
Anyways.
Moving along.
I saw online today that OC Housewife Vicki Gunvalson has put her 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on the Coto de Caza real estate market for $2,695,000. The property is located on a full acre and is 5,400 sq feet. In the first or second episode of this new season, Vicki is filmed doing some renovations to the downstairs level of her home and she openly expressed that she was prepping to sell her home. I always thought that Vicki had the nicest home out of the bunch. It wasn't/isn't gargantuan {cough, cough, Adrienne Maloof} but it's a wonderful family home that is sizeable but also has a warm feel to it. I guess downsizing was in the cards for Vicki as we all know that she is in the middle of a divorce with Donn and her children no longer live at home.
Here are some photos of Vicki's home that is currently on the market:
That backyard is quite the entertainment space! Who wants to move in? ; )

Add to myYahoo!Today we are excited to welcome back Karine Bailly of Ovando, Merci New York's Resident Floral Experts. Ovando has two tres-chic studios in both the West Village and Upper East Side, and is known to design some of the most stunning arrangements for the city's fashion and design luminaries.
Last time Karine visited Merci, she shared some Belle Époque bridal shower inspiration with readers. This time, Ovando returns with another wedding-related fete, the engagement dinner.
Often overlooked from a decor perspective, an engagement party is your first opportunity to share your excitement, as well as your personal decor style. In the below story, Karine speaks about using your engagement party venue as design inspiration, as Ovando did at the legendary Lambs Club, below..
Upon setting foot in the Stanford White Room at the legendary Lamb?s Club, the establishment?s storied Broadway past immediately sprung to life: beautifully restored oak walls lined with immense bookcases, an alluring terrace overlooking Manhattan?s famed theatre district, the charming glow of the stately fireplace, and the floor to ceiling windows that finished the room off with indubitable debonair-- we were entirely enamored. It was the perfect space for an intimate engagement dinner and we could not wait to bring our floral creations to life!
Inspired by the establishment?s old world charm, we instantly had visions of plush feathers, crisp colors, and, of course, glittered glitterati. And this is exactly what we aimed to recreate with our designs! Because we were working with a long rectangular table, we opted to design an end-to-end sweeping tablescape for all eighteen guests to enjoy.
We paired raised silver urns against opaque square vases to create contrasting heights and succinct color. The plush black ostrich feathers were beautifully distinguished against the lavish bundles of white roses and phalaenopsis orchids.
And no old world glamour tablescape would be complete without a generous scattering of crystals, delicately shimmering against the eager flow of Ovando?s tea light candles.
We owe tremendous thanks to Emily Anderson Photography for capturing the evening so handsomely. And yes, it was a truly enchanted evening.
