Just Married! Gaia and Massimo

After winter and Lent time on Sacro Monte in Orta begun the wedding season too! We will have here many events for all the summer up to October.

The very first couple this year to have their wedding on Sacro Monte of Orta is Gaia and Massimo who got married here the late afternoon, just above Lake Orta.

Bride arrived on a legendary Rolls Royce Silver Shadow of 1957.
Her bouquet was really unique made up with Dendrobium Orchids, Hydrangeas, Bowardias and blue Cornflowers.
The church was really full of white peonies, Dendrobium orchids and blue hydrangeas just a dream!

Gaia and Massimo’s big day was celebrated with a lovely party to Villa Crespi.
A lovely aperitif in the garden and a delicious 2 Michelin stars dinner in the the amazing rooms of this very famous venue on Lake Orta.

We will come back soon talking about Gaia and Massimo’s wedding as soon as the official photos of the event will be available.

Veils By Jules - Custom made veils for your wedding day

What does "Veils by Jules" offer to brides?

I offer beautiful custom made veils, bridal head pieces and flowergirl head pieces.

What makes your company unique?

What sets me apart from the rest is I will design any veil no matter how difficult or complex.

How long have you been in business?

I have had a website up since July of 2010, but I've been designing wedding veils for over 10 years.

What area's do you service?

The USA, Canada and I now ship internationally.

When is your busiest time of year?

My busiest time is late summer and fall

How far in advance should a bride book your services?

Depends on how much detail is required in the veil (beading, etc.) I suggest anywhere from a month or greater to a minimum of 1 week. If shipping is involved we need to allow extra time.

How would a bride go about ordering a custom made veil from you? What are the first steps you would recommend?

First, send me a email with what kind of veil you are looking for and let me work my magic. Including a picture is always very helpful.

Please share with us any hints and tips you might have for a future bride?

Don?t stress yourself out planning a wedding. Remember to be thankful for everyone around you and remember the veil is the last thing placed on you and is the final touch to your overall look.

Other than creating beautiful veils, what are your passion(s) in life?

My family is my inspiration and my passion.

Face Painting for Kids

On yourself it's called putting on makeup, on kids it's called face painting although I've seen makeup on grown women whose over-usage would qualify them for the latter title. Easter-eve this year was spent drawing on their requested bunny and batman faces for my niece and nephew.

Cute as a bunny

It's the best use of my makeup and it's so easy. Just Google around for ideas and go for it. Don't worry, these customers are (almost) always happy.
