Add to myYahoo!Well – meet Rachel’s one and only. Ok… really it is Johathan. But her furry friend is very close 2nd, and not many could argue with a cute fuzzy face like this with big puppy dog eyes. It was so fun photographing Rachel and Jonathan this past weekend. I usually ask my couples where [...]![]()

Were too excited for this posting! Katie Cheng one of our "real brides" just sent us these stunning images from her wedding day! Katie is wearing the Adelaide veil.
She has promised that there are more to come, and we can barely wait to see. Oh how we love to see our real brides wearing our very own CastleBride birdcage veils.

Add to myYahoo! We just returned from vacationing in Savannah for New Years! Oh how I love it there!! I never get tired of visiting that transquil city that is full of so much old world charm. It's my absolute favorite place in Georgia - in fact, one of my top favorite places that I have ever visited. I just love walking through all the beautiful squares and taking in a new surrounding that awaits you at every turn. I feel as though the air is fresher there, the pace is slower, and people actually really do stop and smell the roses {when they are in bloom!}. I will post pictures of our time away in Savannah this week!
In the meantime, here is a picture of me and my girl after we checked out of our hotel this morning...
I feel that I have so much to write about, on a variety of topics, but the days have just been getting away from me. I took some time off from blogging the past few days while we were away and I have some catching up to do! : ) Anyone know of a pause button that I can get my hands on?
On a separate note: I'm curious how many of my readers live in {or nearby} Atlanta? If you do, can you please let me know? I love getting to know my readers and am curious if you happen to live near me : )

Add to myYahoo!Amanda Burigatto & Patrick Brogan were married on May 31, 2009 in the Father of the Bride's hometown of Concordia Sagittaria outside of Venice Italy. The bride wore a Junko Yoshioka dress, shoulder length veil doubled with a CastleBride Couture Adelaide birdcage veil and red Valentino shoes. The bridesmaides each work white and accessorized their hair with the Jamie CastleBride Couture pieces. After the ceremony in the Cattedrale San Stefano, whose original structure dates to the seventh century B.C., all of the 140 guests both from Italy and the US were taken to the city of Venice and escorted onto private Vaporetti (water taxis) to the reception location. The "Sale del Ridotto" in the former Palazzo Dandolo--which is now the Hotel Monaco--was the site for the Baroque reception of the Bride and Groom. The "Sale del Ridotto" were the original gambling rooms of Venice in the 14th and 15th centuries and served as a meeting place for artists, writers business men. The adoption of the Venetian masks only made it easier for all classes to entertain in these rooms and meet secretly. It is said that Casanova partook in the games and debauchery of the Sale del Ridotto often. The newlyweds took photos in Piazza San Marco, the Ponte Rialto and some of the most picturesque spots in the city of Venice. The rain showers ended up being a blessing, clearing the otherwise packed Piazza to get some wonderful photos! The bride and groom arrived at the reception, just in time for the bride to change her white veil to the crimson piece that matched her red shoes. The room filled with Crimson and White plumes recreated the Baroque feel of the past and the handmade Venetian masks given to each guest as a gift from the bride and groom evoked the feelings of indulgence and celebration of the past!

Add to myYahoo!I always encourage young couples to go and visit the country and sites in advance. If you?re considering a destination wedding or a wedding in Jamaica, there?s an upcoming opportunity that you might want to consider. Online ?experience seller? Rue La La is offering an upcoming package to Jamaica to stay at Half Moon in Rose Hall, Jamaica. I?ve seen this property several years ago and it is beautiful. This could also be used as a ?home base? to look at other properties in Jamaica and make your selection.
If you are a member of Rue La La, the experience goes on sale on Wednesday, January 5th at 11:00am ET. If you?re not a member of Rue La La or are considering another country, now is the time when Spring deals go on sale, so start searching for deals so you can do a site visit.Copyright 2007-2009 Ulimate Destination Weddings.Original source is http://ultimatedestinationweddings.blogspot.com
