Secret Love Letter: DIY Wedding Wednesday

Happy Hump Day! Have you gotten over the hump of the week already?? It?s almost Valentine?s Day.. the day of love. So this DIY Wedding Wednesday is not only for the bride and groom but for all those interested in sending a secret love letter.

On the wedding day it is sometimes customary that the bride and groom to exchange a gift. And what better a gift than a touching a mushy love letter. It?s a great way to build the excitement and love just before walking down the aisle. You can pre-plan to send your letter with the best man for the groom and the maid of honour for the bride.

Today we?re showing you how to fold that love letter so it?s for your your loves eyes only! It?s going to be up to you to write all the mushy, loving, and tender words you can think to say to your husband/wife to be! Once your done it?s time to fold!

Let?s get started:

Step 1

Fold paper in half and reopen.
Step 2

Fold the left and right side of the fold towards the centre fold.
Step 3

Once left and right side are folded towards the centre, re-fold along the centre fold to make one long strip. Now fold top corner aligning along the edge. Do the same for the bottom corner accept in the opposite direction.
Step 4

Using the space in between the the 2 triangles you just created, fold over so that the 2 triangles lie above the edges on the left and right side. For the bottom triangle fold right to left. For the top triangle fold left to right.
Step 5

Now fold one of the new rhombus shapes (I chose the top) towards the centre. For the top you simply fold down. Now fold the triangle that lays of edge in towards the centre overlapping the first. This will begin to shape the letter into a perfect square.
Step 6

Now repeat by folding the other rhombus shape towards the centre. Fold triangle the lays of edge towards centre overlapping the first, then tuck tip of triangle under the first layer of triangles locking the square in place.
VOILA!
