Real Wedding Style Sheet: Kailua Beach

Carrie and Zachery held a summer celebration at the grooms' childhood plantation-style home at Pilipu, a historical landmark that was once President Roosevelt's vacation home. The bride says, "barefooting it at the beach was the only option? we love the ocean and the natural setting was beautiful!" There was no question that they would wed in Hawaii. "Zach grew on the ocean and is an avid surfer and I've always felt a connection to the island." As an interior designer, Carrie took on the planning process with great joy selecting a bright color palette and abundant tropical arrangements to match the island landscape.
